Nespresso Professional has launched a new coffee blend, Congo Organic, grown near Lake Kivu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
Business customers will now be able to serve their guests and employees an exclusive new organic coffee from Nespresso Professional, while helping revitalise one of the world’s most fragile coffee farming regions, where the once-thriving coffee farming community has been devastated by decades of political and economic instability.
The new coffee is the first available for Office and HORECA channels from Nespresso’s Reviving Origins programme, the company’s long-term approach to restoring coffee production in regions impacted by adversities ranging from climate change to conflict.
Congo Organic is a smooth coffee with a mild, fruity note, and alluring sweet cereal and nutty aromas. It is best enjoyed as an espresso (40 ml/1.35 oz) and has an intensity of 7.
