Sanford to close Madison plant

5 Januar 2006 – Oak Brook (IL): Sanford North America is to permanently close a plant and distribution centre resulting in the loss of 240 jobs, starting this month.
 
In a statement Sanford said the closure of the Madison DC is part of a consolidation of operations that will centralise its injection-moulding operations to its Maryville facilities.
 
Sanford fügte hinzu, dass den Mitarbeitern Abfindungspakete sowie Outplacement-Unterstützung und -Schulung angeboten werden.
