Just as printer manufacturers have continually improved ink jet technologies, they have also made huge advances in the electrophotographic technologies found in today's laser printers and MFPs. Printer OEMs deployed faster processors in their laser hardware to quickly image pages and supported these processors with enhanced software such as more robust printer languages and scalable fonts. Print resolutions, print quality and print speeds were improved. Low-cost colour technologies emerged, and colour laser machines have become wildly popular....
