DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES FRIDAY 19TH MARCH 2010
OPI has launched an awards programme for North American manufacturers to encourage innovation and give recognition to vendors that are working to deliver real value to the dealer community.
These awards will be launched at S.P. Richards’ 2010 Advantage Business Conference (ABC) in Miami Beach, with the winners announced at a special dinner function on the evening preceding the trade show. This will include vendors, dealer groups, dealers and S.P. Richards attendees.
• Vendor Awards Presentation and Dinner – Thursday June 24, 2010
• Trade Show (Expo) – Friday June 25, 2010
The expectation is these awards will rapidly be recognised as the Gold Standard within the industry.
How to enter
The process is very straightforward and you will not be required to complete onerous applications forms or demonstrate entire new product launch campaigns. A simple online process will enable you to easily submit basic details for each award category you wish to enter.
Why enter?
S.P. Richards’ ABC is the largest annual event for North American dealers and attracts over 3,000 attendees every year. The winners and shortlisted companies will raise their profiles to all ABC attendees as winners will be announced at a special dinner taking place during the show and can also be followed on Twitter and Facebook There will also be a separate display area in the trade show, bringing greater visibility and recognition to winners and finalists, along with additional signage to be displayed within vendor booths. Winners will also be announced at Saturday’s general session.
In addition, the shortlist will be announced in OPI magazine, OnPoint magazine and on opi.net. The winners will also be included in a special feature article in OPI magazine as well as online.
Award winners will therefore receive the highest recognition amongst their customers.

There will be eight awards presented at the inaugural NAOPA in June 2010.

• Best Product - Cleaning & Breakroom
• Product Innovation of the Year - Product Development

• Environmentally-friendly Product of the Year

Presentation Dinner
The presentation to award winners will take place during a spectacular dinner on Thursday 24 June, 2010 for nearly 2,000 dealers, vendors and other industry executives. In addition to being a great evening with fantastic entertainment, this will be an unrivalled networking opportunity in advance of the next day’s very successful trade show.
