The following categories will be voted for by a panel of senior international executives. Entries in these categories should be made in English.
Exporter of the Year
We are looking for the vendor that has demonstrated real success in the international market. The judges are looking for:
• Good understanding of the export market and customer
• Excellent export strategy
• Good selection of markets to enter and appropriate entry strategy
• Export growth, revenue and market share
• International marketing
• Excellent customer service
• Appropriate products
Best Product (4 categories)
° Desk accessories
° Office machines
° Paper products (including labels, pads)
° Writing instruments
Great products are the key to success in the OP industry. If you are offering your customers high quality products which offer real solutions to their office needs, we want to hear from you. The judges will be considering the following criteria:
• Product innovation and design
• How has the product improved upon previous designs/models
• What are the benefits to the consumer? Does the product offer any environmental benefits?
• How successful has the product been in terms of sales/revenue/market share?
Corporate Social Responsibility
(Vendor & reseller)
The award will be presented to the company that can demonstrate that they manage their business in a social, ethical and environmentally responsible way. Corporate Social Responsibility is an approach that helps us get away from the old idea that economic, social and environmental goals are always in conflict. We are looking for the company that can demonstrate that creating a fairer society and a dynamic economy go together and are the essence of sustainable development.
The judges are looking for companies that can:
• Illustrate that it is possible to balance economic success with protecting the environment
• Demonstrate the contribution they are making to the local community
• Show the investment they are making in their staff and how this is an economic necessity rather than a social cost to be endured
The following categories will be voted for by senior Chinese executives. Entries should be made in Chinese.
Reseller of the Year
Nominate the reseller you feel is making a difference to our industry and showing true business innovation.
Tell us why their performance stands out and how they have managed to set themselves apart from the competition.
Emerging Reseller of the Year
This award seeks to find those resellers that are building a name for themselves among the established power players or setting the standards in emerging markets. We are looking to find the pioneers of tomorrow, so tell us how you are making your mark, or nominate an emerging business that deserves recognition.
Supplier of the Year
The winner of this award will need to demonstrate their achievements as a vendor. It could be consistent product development, a commitment to customers or simply going beyond expectations in any aspect of their business. What will be evident however, is a clear commitment to the China office supplies industry.
If you are a domestic vendor, tell the judges why you believe your company deserves to receive this accolade.
Young Professional of the Year
(Open to all channels)
This award seeks out those 'rising stars' with the ability, energy and potential to influence the future of their company.
Nominees should work for an office products vendor, dealer, reseller or wholesaler, but can be from any discipline. Whatever their role, candidates must be making a significant contribution to their company's success.
Industry Achievement
(Open to all channels)
This award will go to the individual that has made an outstanding contribution to the Greater Chinese office products industry through success, personal commitment, application and dedication. The individual may have been a contributor to the long term success of a Greater Chinese office products business or they may have played an important part in an industry association. Please nominate the person you believe has truly made their mark and deserves this special award.
