HSM Document Shredder HSM SECURIO P44

The document shredder SECURIO P44 completes the SECURIO model range for professional use. It is the
largest and most powerful device of the SECURIO range. With its collection volume of 205 litres and an impressive cutting capacity of up to 78 sheets, the SECURIO P44 takes pride of place as the most powerful model among
alternating-current devices.

The device comes with the familiar features, e.g. the folding safety unit with contact protection and integrated service flap, an automatic oiler for the cutting unit on the particle-cut versions as well as with an optionally available separate cutting unit for the destruction of CDs, credit or customer cards etc. and include a
collection container for sorting the shredded material.

A new feature is the PaperControl function, a paper-thickness measurement providing the user with
information on whether a stack of paper can be shredded in a single go. By lighting up in red, yellow or green, an LED on the multi-function button indicates whether the stack of paper can be fed into the machine or whether the
size of the stack needs to be reduced first. If the user feeds in a stack that exceeds the machine’s cutting capacity, the machine indicates so by lighting the LED in red. If the volume of paper is within the machine’s upper capacity range, the LED lights up in yellow. The stack can be shredded but it is recommended to reduce its size to eliminate even the slightest chance of the machine jamming. If the LED lights up in green, the stack can be shredded straight away.
