Company Information
Bi-silque was founded in 1979 by Virgílio and Aida Vasconcelos, originally as a manufacturer of cork products for home and office use. This novel idea proved to be a runaway success and saw Bi-silque quickly expanding to new markets and diversifying its product lines. Today, Bi-silque, which is still firmly in the hands of the Vasconcelos family, is a major player in the field of communication products and one of the leading SMC’s in Portugal. The last 30 years have seen the company change drastically, but its core values are still intact: striving for innovation and customer satisfaction has served the company well; creativity is still its driving force. The second generation of this entrepeneuring family has brought with it fresh ideas and new goals, assuring the continuation of the vision of its founders. Currently, Bi-silque exports its products to 40 countries in five continents amd has offices and representatives in the UK, the US and Germany. With that mindset we set out to expand our horizons even further, and Bi-Bright was born. Bi-Bright is Bi-silque’s future communications branch. Using state-of-the-art technology, Bi-Bright develops interactive communication solutions and multimedia platforms to improve efficiency and widen communication possibilities. The world is out there, and Bi-Bright’s products are helping it communicate. Bi-office was launched in 1998 to provide specific solutions for the professional market, and quickly became a leader in its field, a testament to Bi-silque’s professionalism and the quality of its products. Strong values, a keen eye for the market’s needs and placing the customer at the centre of its business stance are all key factors in the company’s projects and endeavours. The future looks bright.
