Marcel Ringeard has worked in the OP industry for over 40 years since he joined Carpentras, a French wholesaler, in 1971. He joined Pilot in 1984 and progressed up the ranks to become the Managing Director of Pilot Pen France in 1989 and Pilot Industry Europe in 1995. His vast experience at the firm led to him joining the board of Pilot Corporation Japan. Ringeard became President of Pilot Europe in 2002.
