Probe into Corporate Express trading

The rapid rise of CE's share price has attracted the unwanted attention of the Dutch financial markets authority. In a new twist to Staples' proposed takeover of Corporate Express (CE), the Dutch financial markets authority (AFM) has confirmed that it is investigating movements in CE's share price prior to Staples' open letter of 19 February. The AFM is looking at how media speculation and possible leaks contributed to the 43 percent leap in the company's share price in the days leading up to Staples going public about its intentions....
